“I didn’t go there to make an album,” YNTRA says. “I went there to find peace.”What came instead was something deeper — a collection of sound and soul, a release of the darkness she had held onto, and an invitation for light to finally come in.
THE PROCESS
The journey wasn’t glamorous. It was emotional, messy, and healing all at once. The solitude stripped her down to the most honest version of herself — the woman, the artist, the little girl who just wanted to feel free again.“I took everything I’ve learned about doing the work — and actually put it into play,” she shares.
“I allowed my inner child to lead the way. I owed it to her. I owed it to me.”
